Joanne DiFrancesco

Joanne, the president and owner of JDCommmunications, Inc., is a seasoned and high-energy professional with over 25 years' experience in the field.

Prior to starting JDCommunication, Inc., Joanne's professional experience included Account Director for Rochefort & Associates Entertainment and Lifestyles PR, Boston; Public Relations consultant for The Massachusetts Heritage State Parks; Director of Marketing for The 660 Corporation, Boston University and Development and Promotions Director for National Public Radio Station WBUR.FM, Boston.

Recognized as one of the Top 10 PR Professionals 2009 by Women's Business Boston, Joanne serves on the Board of Directors for The Room to Dream Foundation, The Paul R. Matthews Foundation, and works with the New England Chapter of the Melanoma Foundation.  She is an associate member of the International Furnishing and Design Association (IFDA); the National Association of Professional Women; The Eastern Massachusetts National Association of the Remodeling Industry (EM NARI); and The South Shore Women's Business Association. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Oswego, a Master of Science in Communications and Public Relations from Boston University and a certification in Public Relations studies from Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studies.

Joanne resides on the South Shore, Massachusetts, with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys sharing time with family and friends; traveling – anytime, anywhere – theater, music, cooking, reading, spinning and the great outdoors!
